Hunters, fishermen, and adventurers all use local guides in order to make the most of their expeditions. Why not nature photographers? Why waste your precious field time looking for the best fall foliage, the moose wallows, or that hidden waterfall that only the locals know about when you could be photographing all of these subjects from the moment you arrive in the Northeast?

From the most brilliant fall foliage the Northern Forest has to offer to tide pools teeming with vivid starfish on the Maine coast, I can guide you to the outstanding field locations in the northeast and the Canadian Maritimes. Waterfalls in the White and Green Mountains, carpets of spring wildflowers, rare orchids, carnivorous sundews and pitcher plants, nesting herons, eagles, osprey, white-tailed deer, moose, puffins, seals, and breathtaking landscapes abound in the Northeast and I know where and when to photograph them.

So, if you're planning on photographing in Northern New England or the Canadian Maritimes, consider taking along a professional nature photographer with 20 years of experience photographing the nature of the Northeast. At $200.00/day, my services are extremely affordable, particularly if my fee is shared by a party of several people.

I can also put together a customized tour that accommodates your particular interests, be it wildlife, landscapes, the Atlantic coast, including whales, seals, and seabirds, or particular ecosystems such as bogs, the intertidal, or old growth forests. As a biologist with an M.S. in zoology and publications in peer-reviewed journals, I can combine the insights of a naturalist with the skills of a camera hunter to get those hard-to-get, intimate images of wild subjects.
